Why they stare…???
Girls just picture this situation…
You step out of your work place or your house, onto the road in the middle of the day clad in a simple kurtha top or a t-shirt and a pair of jeans, with your shades on.
From the time you step on to the road not just one, but two, three and more men just stare at you. Why they stare, is beyond me.
Here I was thinking that I look pretty much normal. Didn’t think I looked any less human than anyone else I know.
At a point this staring business would really get to me. I would get so annoyed and would get into a mood the whole day. But in time I realized that I couldn’t stop what was out of my control and calmed down. And learned to let it go, eventually.
My girlfriends and I have had endless discussions as to why they stare… But we have never been able to come up with a reason. One possibility though, is that they stare because they envy what they do not have! Another is that they stare because we are the better-looking sex… by far! 
Another frequent happening when you are walking on the road is that so many vehicles would toot their horns and flash their head lights at you and then if by chance you bother to look, you would see a pathetic looking male staring at you and smiling.
Do they not get it, that we women do not appreciate being ‘tooted’ at and stared at, in the middle of the road? I mean, we mind our own business and do what we have to do, without being a nuisance to anyone!
Evidently it was not the clothes that made these men stare. Because, no matter what we wear, they stare and snigger anyway!! So what can it be that intrigues the male species so much to want to ogle with their mouths wide open at women, making them feel so uncomfortable and so self conscious?
How often would you find a woman tooting her horn at a good-looking guy, (which is of course a rare sighting in this country)? Or even randomly staring at a guy, with their mouths wide open, while he were walking on the road? So, is it fair that we women are considered objects to be ogled at?
